Default z20 build so far

Its nearly finished, just got to finish swapping over a few more bitts in the engine bay and still another 600 miles of running in and then it can be mapped, hopefully next friday.
No probs so far and it pulls really well at part throttle off boost, turbo is spooling up (by accident) by 2.5k which is bloody quick for its size.

engine spec:
x20xev early block (decked 1.5mm)
x20xev crank (balanced and pollished)
86.5mm Mahle US spec ecotec pistons
Pauter rods
ARP rod bolts
ARP head studs
ACL Calico Main Bearings .25 over size
ACL Calico rod Bearings standard size
CTM race head
Double valve springs
custom inlet & exhaust cams
Inlet manifold ports matched to head
Alloy catch tank
Bosch 550cc injectors
Custom tubular manifold
HKS 40mm external wastegate
Garret T3/4 50/63 Turbo
HKS ssqv dump valve
63mm top hat
Mercedes clk compressor throttle body
Spec stage 2+ clutch
ARP flywheel bolts
Lightweight flywheel
Phantom Gripp LSD
Apexi power filter with 3" pipework to turbo

The main restriction now is the inlet manifold, this is being sorted out and should be ready to swap over soon, also waiting for a few silicone hoses to turn up so that the pipes from the t/b to the intercooler outlet can be swapped for a single solid item.

Cheers, it should hopefully make around 400 bhp on that turbo then around 550bhp on the gt35 thats being fitted in June.
Yep brembo callipers with VXR disks and ferrodo DS2500 pads, ive just fitted the braided lines as the standard lines were bulgeing a bit, also ive just managed to get hold of a set of evo 6 rear brembos aswell so il fit those next.

Niice one Tricky mate looks a top dollar job, some awesome parts gone on there!!! Did you lose anything to fit the 200SX manifold i.e air con, fans etc?

The engine is in my dark blue coupe, its a bit of a sleeper, the only give away are the brembos and the louvres in the bonnet and maybe the bright red recaro interior lol if you get close enough. I bought it from welsh Andy off the forum a year or so ago. Traction shouldnt be too bad as its running an apexi boost controller that will limit boost in each gear/rpm and also has different boost setups so you can change to suit different conditions, eg road/track/wet road. Standard traction controll works a lot better with anftermarket boost controllers, 245/30/17`s for track and 235/40`s for the road on coupe T8 super T alloys.

It was just the standard fan housing that got in the way of the external wastegate, rather than adapting the fan housing i replaced both the a/c fan and the main fan with a 13" HD kenlowe with dual speed settings, that cools alot quicker than the standard setup, it aslo pulls air through the intecooler aswell cooling that. Il stick a pick up when i get home.
