I'm really struggling to get my car sorted for sat, and i still havent got my FMIC piping.
A temporary idea I had, was to use the standard rubber black pipe that usually goes to left side of the intercooler(looking at the car). Meaning, my FMIC would be fine on the left side(its got the proper pipes) but the right side would use this standard rubber pipe, sort of bodged up infront of the radiator, and then connects to the boost power pipe. Would this be ok/safe? or would it cause problems. I dont want to kill my car again, but im running out of options. Cheers

well, the way i think it will plumb in, it will be fairly well secured, with a few jubilee clips.
Still unsure what todo, but its looking like ive either got to do the above, or leave my SMIC on.. which may effect the map(regal 3.5)

Aslong as the pipes are secure and not kinked it doesnt matter if its silicon or rubber.

I'd second that. However, when my boostpipe came off the engine died completely, dash lit up like a xmas tree and i lost power steering and brakes. Scared the shit out of me even though I was only doing 40ish as i had the kids and Mrs in the car. |

well, the thing is, i only need it to stay on while it has a road test, then the rolling road
im really running out of time to get a custom pipe made, i can get one done after this weekend, but not before. Ill put 2 jubilee clips on each end really, to make sure it doesnt come off whats that thing ive heard about negative boost/boost pipes collapsing?
