Question Erratic idling..

Went to work this morning and on way car stalled at junction, then when got to work car idle really low then stuttering then cut out.every time i re started car, erratic idle then slowly cut out and stalled.couldnt find anything wrong, checked AFM meter for loose connections r owt, nothing.any way found breather pipe on drivers side going into wing with a green plug in it,and a smallsnail like electrical plug on it, nothing wrong with it at all,but when i unplugged it idle settled loverly and car ran fine.dont want to run like this want to find problem. as when i re plugged breather back into snail electrical connection car started stuttering and stalled again... am thinking dodgy AFM meter but wondered if any of u guys and girls had similar idle/afm meter probs and wot u did to fix. theres no warning lights or owt coming up.?????

this happened to me whilst the car was under warranty, they replaced the boost pressure sensor or summat then all was fine.
