For those of you wanting to come to VAG OPEL this year there are 2 hotels that we use. Which one you choose will be down to yourself but the main reason for the choice is that some people stay 2 nights others stay 1 night. This makes a big impact on price and therefore 2 hotels are required.
You are booking for Saturday the 18th September for one night and the 19th September for 2 nights. Best Western Premier Hotel Keizershof - make sure its this one as there are other Best Westerns! Great for 1 night as its in the middle of the town, not so good for 2 nights as its very expensive. The car park isnt massive so you will need to book a parking space as well. There are 2 smallish car parks, not so low cars can go to the underground one, low cars to the ground floor one. Details on how to book this hotel are here: http://www.booking.com/hotel/be/keiz...out=2010-09-19 Indication on price at time of this thread - 1 night = 69 euros 2nights = 290 euros Ibis Aalst Centrum Very cheap hotel for 1 night or 2 nights, it is a little bit out of town but the taxis are frequent and easy to get one to get home on the evening. If you share the taxis its not a lot of money (its a 5 minute drive). Huge underground car park so no problems there. Details on how to book this hotel are here: http://www.booking.com/hotel/be/ibis...out=2010-09-19 Indication on price at time of this thread - 1 night = 54 euros 2nights = 104 euros (thats for a twin room) With Both hotels the Breakfasts are the same price on the day, so no real need to book them or there are bakerys or Mcdonalds very close, which will be cheaper. If you want an alternative hotel them www.booking.com has a few: http://www.booking.com/searchresults...197619;srpos=1
