    P0170 Short Term Fuel Trim - Live Data

    Hi, just wondering if someone would mind looking over my live data for this fault code - it was early morning so just a few gentle revs on the driveway. Car seems to run fine and EM light isn't actually on, but this code is stored and comes back as soon as I reset it... Car is a standard Astra GSi Z20LET.

    AFM readings in my mind look to be ok, as does the second lambda. The first lambda readings seem a bit haphazard and also the long term fuel trim percentage seems high?

    Any knowledgeable souls shed any information on this?

    yes mate, your long term fuel trim is very high, it should set around 0 most the time, I had the same code, but my fuel trim would max out 22, then put engine light on, I changed the maf with a new bosch, solved it.

    Thanks, but wouldn't a faulty AFM also effect the short term trim - they are all +-0% which I believe is normal?
