Astra mk5 1.3 CDTI EGR Valve location

    Hi all

Recently purchased a 2008 Astra 1.3 turbo diesel, but my partner has started to experience hesitation and stuttering around 2500rpm, doing a search it looks to be the EGR valve.

First of all, where the location and are these easy to clean?

Is there a guide for this common problem?

    Thanks
    Lee

It's apparently tricky to get to on the 1.3. I've read that it's on the rear of the engine, below the inlet manifold.

At the rear of the engine and as said a pain in the arse to do.

    Looks like this:
The truth is always the truth even if you haven't realised it yet...
