    reverse wire on X1 plug

Been retro fitting the vectra c auto dimming mirror today and i managed to wire up the IGN live, ground and multitimer wire but i couldnt find the reverse wire for love nor money.

I pulled the X1 connector (passenger side kick panel out) but could see no white with black trace wire going into this.

Does it switch colour when it comes from the REC to X1?

If anyone has a pic of it at fairly close image so i could see the position or even the pin numbers that might help me greatly.

The mirror works fine at the mo but would like to stop it from dimming when reverse is engaged.

    cheers

I'm looking at the diagrams and can't see any reverse light wire between the under bonnet fuse box and the REC so am guessing it's on the canbus circuit. Time to run a wire to the boot

fair enough. looks like ill be running a cable next weekend.
suppose its ok just to tap into the LHS light connector and run it to the mirror?

i wouldn't bother with the reverse wire personally, its more hassle than its worth. The morror still operates fine without it i found!
