    removing aircon complete

    do you have to get smaller belt??or can you move altenator to make fit???any1 removed complete aircon

    youd need to move alternator a fair bit to reuse the OE belt

    any conversion kit will have the correct sized belt anyway

    888dan will do a nice underdrive pulley kit for those with and without aircon

    iv removed both rads and aircon pump,do i need new pully to fit oe belt or can i keep old pulleys and fit shorter belt??

    iv been thinking about doing this to mine aswell. is it just a case of getting a new belt then ?

    all iv done is remove my 2 rads and the aircon pump/motor watever it called,mine was smashed so gas already out,im left with belt to big as pulley missing so i wanna know if i can make it fit or short belt or as above said 888dan and pulley kit with belt

    There's an idler pulley you can get from a vx220 that goes in place of the aircon pump and allows you to keep the standard tensioner. Or buy the kit that allows you to use the alternator to tension the belt.

    YOU'll need a new belt. I used a Bosch 865 belt on mine and just used the alternator as the tensioner.. No probs at all...

    how is this possible the belt rubs on the oil line nuts and isnt a good way at all ive just done it yesterday on my coupe???????????

    id already removed everything so i just left the compresser on and ran it that way!
