    Remote locking/alarm problem

ACT, bog standard, which I’ve had from new:-
Using remote passenger door (and boot) locks then immediately unlocks - drivers door, nothing happens
    Doors/boot lock/unlock ok using key.
If locked using key, unlocking via remote drivers door stays locked.
Triggering alarm system – hazards flash but power sounder doesn’t go off.
Tried re-synching system with ignition on – nothing happens (both keys)
Replaced the batteries in both key fobs – still the same issues.
    Any help gratefully appreciated

Faulty power sounder probably for the alarm problem

The drivers door lock will probably need replacing for the locking problem unless it's a broken wire

    Thanks for that.
Just been reading up on central locking issues and was coming the conclusion that I had two separate problems. Is it normal for the sounder to just stop working without any warning? I replaced it 3-4 years ago because it started giving the common symptoms (alarm going off for no reason, chirping) – this time nothing.
Is it an easy job to replace the door motor (I don’t think it’s a wiring issue as the motor clicks a couple of times using the remote –suggesting it’s getting power but not functioning?)

My old powersounder just gave up without any of the usual warnings, it didn't even cause false alarms like they can do

Door lock should be fairly straight forward to replace, just a case of getting the door card off and unbolting it. There may be a couple of clips for rods that are tricky to remove
