Exhaust emission light & TC light on at same time. What could this be?

I have a 2002 Astra Coupe 1.8 for some reason the exhaust emmision light and traction control light have come on, both are constantly lit and not flashing. Is there a common fuse for these or anything else common? Any ideas what this could be? Also i think the engine is running slightly more lumpy on idle jittering at around 900rpm, but this may just be my imagination because the fault lights are on. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

in every vauxhall car that i have worked on and fault code read with these two lights on in tandem, it has been cured with a new AFM.
try and get the codes read if you are unsure, mate
