Engine Tune-friendly Insurance Companies? (and those that aren't!)

As title. Maybe this sort of topic should be a Sticky, no?

How about we compile a list of companies that tend to insure engine tune mods, and those that don't.
It's always the first question I ask when going for a motor quote to stop me wasting time.
A fair number of companies will now insure cosmetic mods, but I find that engine tuning/remaps etc. (being classed as "performance mods") are not that widely insured

Well, we all know that Adrian Flux are "Performance mod"-friendly.
I've also found out that Quinn Direct, and elephant.co.uk are too

And I've just found out that Direct Line, and Churchill are not

Any other positive companies out there that you know of?

Unfortunately Admiral will not insure a car that has had a "performance mod" increase of x %

Currently I think that figure is around 30% increase in power.

So for example, if your DTi has been remapped from 73bhp up to 100bhp or over Admiral will not insure you.

Quinn are fine with my window tints. I have 80% tint on the rears.
I'm with Quinn at the moment, but their renewal price is too high - £660.
    Adrian Flux are quoting £750
    Elephant are quoting £460.

I'll probably go with the cheapest, Elephant, unless anyone can suggest a few more Engine Tune-friendly companies that I could contact...

    Help?

Directline said to me that they do not allow anyone to modify on their policy unless they are 25 or over.

Elephant wouldn't insure me, as I have too many modifications, despite giving me a favourable quote to start with

I only got as far as the bodywork... I didn't even get to the engine

Elephant are utter shite. My sister tried to change car and they told her she had to pay a £200 admin fee. Never heard of this before in my life. As she wanted to buy a newer car, instead she is keeping her banger till may and taking our business elsewhere.

I went with Sky insurance, fully declared mods and protected no claims cost me £550 a year for the GSi
GSi....boosting a' ower yer honda CTR, Vtec this!

I've noticed that some companies who say that they will insure engine-tuned cars have a power-increase % limit.
If the % power increase is greater than 10% they won't insure you.
    Elephant fit into this category

To my knowledge, companies who will generally insure greater than a 30-40% power increase are:
    Quinn
    Adrian Flux
    Sky

    Any more, peeps?
