Alarm Central locking & immobilizer not working

Hi there new to this group, I've got a astra 1.4 GSL M reg 1995. I had to change the battery and when I replaced it the alarm central locking and immobilizer stopped working! I have replaced all the fuses and tried the steps for re doing the central locking but nothing works. Can anyone please give advice.

    Thanks

    Welcome Kev

Is this a factory fitted alarm or aftermarket one? I suspect aftermarket, if so whats the make of it?

Hi there, thanks for getting back to me.

All I can tell you is that it's an aftermarket alarm, There's no markings and all or any stickers that were there have worn off? I have gone through all the paper work that came with the car and nothings mentioned....so what do I do now?

    thanks in avance.

Ok so thats a GT alarm as you possibly already know

The fuses for it will be behind the dash somewhere as it's aftermarket so strip the glovebox out and steering column to look for any seperate fuses

I take it the car doesn't start at the moment?

I had to buy a new battery for the car as the old battery wouldn't hold a charge. Bought a new battery and the car starts okay now, just that when I bought the car everything worked on it. Since replacing the battery and put it back in the car the alarm and central locking and immobilizer stopped working along with the blue falshing light for the immobilizer.
