Turbo to 9L side mounted intercooler boost pipe?

Bought a Courtenay side mounted intercooler and wondered what the options are for the turbo to intercooler boost pipe? Guess i could make one up using various elbows and joiners etc but i wondered if anyone had a off the shelf option?

One other question, what side is the standard intercooler inlet and the standard outlet?

Why not just get the Courtenay hose, easiest option + most reliable as its one solid hose.

Otherwise like you say you can make your own with joiners and bends. Probably work out about the same cost wise.

I've got the Courtenay one, had to get a reducer so it would fit on my Regal side mount but as you've got the Courtenay one that won't be an issue. Does the job fine though

That one looks of the same diameter as the standard one and its to small for the smic.

i have the eds 9litre smic and i just used the o.e pipe from intercooler to turbo, i had to warm the pipe to get it on the intercooler and it was a tight fit but it did it and works fine...a bigger pipe will have no benefit at all, why spend for no benefit ?

Did not think i stood any chance of stretching the old pipe on to be honest. Also if you can stretch it on it means that the pipes could be expanding under boost which is not a good thing.

A few people have the OE pipe in place on the 9Ltr SMIC... and there has been no additional issues to speak of in comparison to using an aftermarket specific boost pipe...

its far to tough to expand under boost but it is a very tight stretch fit to get it on.
