    mk5 Steering Wheel Trim

    How the heck do you remove them.

    i see there torx screws look like T20. but you cant get the torx bit on the screw, so i tried a allen key, but cant get that to work.

    how have people removed them?

    it is a torx screw mate, cant remember what size but i do remember it was a right barstad to get out...

    I think T20 is correct. I had mine out yesterday. If you're trying to use a torx bit that fits into a socket, then onto a ratchet, then no, it won't fit. You'll have to use a screwdriver torx bit. Then once you have the screws out, the trims just pull forwards, and unclip. Small bit of force needed, but they just pull.
