    Daylight running light

    Hi,

I have recently bought a 1.6 Exclusiv and cannot work out how to switch off the DRL. The manuals mention turning the light switch to auto but there is no 'auto' position on my light switch. Is this normal?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

No there is no auto. Off-sides-heads. only.

Not sure why there is no auto but surely I should still be able to switch them off.

You cant turn them off permanently. IIRC turning the sitch to sidelights then back to the of position will turn them off. But once the cars turned off its reset. Its to do with new EU regulations coming into force.

thanks for the reply, just tried and it doesn't turn them off for some reason.

Are there many without the 'auto' feature?
Does anyone else have a MK6 without an auto position on the light switch?

    thanks
