Reason i say this is i was listening on the news about all this hoo-haa over Rhianna's new track - S&M, the lyrics, the video, the whole shebang.
I heard it on the radio. It censors out chains & whips as in "...c***** & w**** excite me....".
Now ignoring the fact that she puts whips and chains in a sentence back to front, why on earth is this even censored?
Go back a year or so to her track Rude Boy. Now i could be wrong here, but i'm damn sure i heard on the radio, her lines "big boy can you get it up" and "are you big enough" get played perfectly fine.
What's the difference really?
Are we not a bit OTT with censorship? Yet at the same time we want to be promoting free speech & individualism etc? Ok.
