    Alarm immobiliser

    Got the car a couple of days ago and love it. only problem is i came in tonight and i could here a high pitched noise sounds like the alarm to me but as far as i can see the immobilser has been bypassed because when you unlock the car and open the doors the hazards flash until you turn the ignition on could someone please help....

    p.s. does not unlock by the remote

    What car do you have mate? If it's a factory alarm it will go off when you unlock it with the key, sounds like your power sounder is faulty though

    None of this has anything to do with the immobiliser, thats all working properally

    As above it sounds like it could be faulty, you say your immobiliser looks like it's been bypassed do you have any pics of this? Would help you get the answer you crave for

    mine dose this.

    my connections in my fob are foob..
    you unlock with the key. open the door hazardous flash until you put the key in.

    when you lock with the key alarm is armed but unlocking with the key dose not disarm.
    also a girls at work dose this too.

    have u opened the fob up 2 see if the connections on the battery holder are in tact may need a bit of cardboard behind the battery

    As above or try new batterys in the fob.. have known this to happen as a warning sound.

    or someone has been a complete cowboy and done something....
