    Perspex windows - Astra Mk4

    Anyone know of anyone who does them and also are they road legal, i assume front 3 would have to stay glass?

    ive never heard of this..have you seen any with them on? and out of intrest why would someone change windows to perspex??

    have you felt the weight of glass windows?

    got the power now but i think the G is a little heavy.

    I'm not sure about the windscreen, but you can do whatever you want with the side windows. You wont fail an MOT for having perspex windows.

    There was a matte black mk4 c20let track car with them on and I'm sure he was braking it but just can't remember the user name

    we make perspex windows at work for a mk3 escort I think it was. something to do with a racing team IIRC

    You would be better with Lexan or Makrolon windows as its virtually unbreakable due to being polycarbonate, unlike perspex which is acrylic and not as strong.

    But beaware of swirl marks appearing on the plastics after a while.
