    Arrow 16's

My cuz is thinking of getting some rims off his mate, but he's not sure if they'll fit straight on his car (1.6 SXi). The only info i got from him was; they're 16's and ET30. I remember reading ET40-49 somewhere on here for 16's. Will he need to do anything to get them to fit properly?

    Thanks in advance guys!

the lower the number the further it stick out.
if the rim is for example 7inch wide then it will stick out upto 19mm further than a correct offset wheel.
to be honest with 16s you shouldnt have a problem with low profile tyres and a sensible drop.
i have 17s et44 with 10mm spacer so effectively et34 and dont get any rub on the back or front with a 100mm drop.

He currently has 17's also, ET45 and is slammed on his coilies. He's trying to reduce weight...
He's not informed me on the tyre size yet, but i'm guessing they will be 40's, if not 45.

Yeah, he told me they are also 7.5 wide. Did they stick out/tuck in loads or were they inline with the arches mate? I'm trying to picture how it would sit, as it's sort of in between your ET and Bucky's

Thanks for your input guys! Much appreciated

Don't know if it's too late but are you sure you have the right stud pattern for it?

Curious, I get serious front arch rubbing on corners on ET35's with 205/45/17's on, and they kick the front lip of the rear arch on large bumps too, they've twisted the arch lip outwards...

I'm dropped -40mm or so, more at the rear due to sub/LPG tank/amp.
