Not 100% but think it's 18 over and hold 16 or 20 over and holds 18

Really? Floored it in 3rd earlier & only held about 16psi ish. Vxr actuator set to about 4/5 threads.
Is it worth winding it up another 1 turn or so & testing again?

Completely your choice. Phase 3 on my car has always run 18psi, with 21psi overboost. The fact you are running lower boost means you're not stressing the engine as much. You can either leave it as it is, or turn the actuator up one turn at a time until you get 18psi like mine.

If the engine doesn't like the extra psi, it will soon throw up the engine management light, at which point you know to turn it back down.

In addition, is your car fitted with a TC switch? Leaving the TC on will affect boost levels in certain conditions. I have floored mine in 3rd gear before, and not achieved full psi, because the TC was holding it back because of the road conditions.

What gear does yours hold this in? Every gear?

Simple answer is no, it does not hold this much boost in every gear.

The reason i say simple answer, is because my car is not fitted with a TC switch, meaning i can not turn it off. The boost will go for 21psi overboost in every gear, but the TC will reign it back in straightaway because of loss of traction, especially when in 1st, 2nd and sometimes 3rd gear.

3rd gear and above i can achieve boost figures.
