Post Astra H VXD or Seat Leon Cupra R

Hi guys I know most people on here will go for the astra but thought I'd ask anyway… Iv got about £5000ish and I want something reasonably quick I know the Leon does 0-60 in 6.9secs but have no idea about the astra can any one help with figures or any other suggestions the only thing I want is it to be either 2003 or newer?

VXD? VXR is similar figures to Cupra R, but you won't get one for £5k. They start around £7k, 2005 is oldest available.

ahh ok. Out of those two then I would choose the Cupra. Petrol over Diesel any day.

    agreed! nice sound, no smoke!

but if your like me and want power but dont have very deep pockets for fuel you cant be doing 44mpg while giving it some sport and about 55mpg if your taking it easy on the motorway!

All depends what you prefer and your situation. I'm not a big fan of diesels, the sound + their small power band. I also don't need a car for work or need to drive any long distances.

If I was doing a lot of miles for work and had to use my own car, I would then possibly consider one.
