    Exclamation Eye's

So, I'm thinking of getting these headlights off ebay.

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-ASTRA...item4aa0c99c71

I'm wondering if anybody on here has these ones and if they had to do any modification to get them to work? Is it just a case of removing the standard ones and replacing with these?

Also how much of an increase in insurance cost's would I incur by fitting these? Thanks chap's and chapets...

    yeh i have them.
You need to cut and splice in the main beams. and if you want the rings and the day glows to work you need to run them straight off the battery with a friggin long wire iv had nothing but a ball ache with mine. (im shite at electrics too)
and they need adjusting because they dont come ready for road use.

Only if you want the rings lit all the time.

When I helped Glacious fit his last year, his are FK or Depo, can't remember, and they were pretty much plug and play, didn't have to faff with wires at all.

IIRC them ones got panned by a few folk on here for needing faffing about.

I THINK these ones were the recommended ones: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-ASTRA...#ht_532wt_1139

But don't quote me on it. I do remember some sorts getting panned & one sort being well rated, but it was a while ago now.
