    07 SRI 1.8 advice

    Hi guys

I used to be on this forum years ago when I had a MK4 sxi, i sold that and got an RX8. After 3 and a half years of ridiculous fuel costs i might be getting another astra.

I am currently looking at a 07 plate 1.8 SRI with xp kit, it has done 30320 miles.

before i go and see it, is there anything i should be looking out for ?

And for anyone that owns one, what are the general running costs like, ie how much for a full tank, how many miles to a full tank, service costs etc etc

sorry if im asking too many questions, i have been away from the astra scene for a while !

btw i've still got a load of astra-sport stickers stuck to my drawers in work !!

    still looks a great site.

I have a 1.8vvt sri 5dr love mine too. I get around 350 miles out of full tank but thats about 70 miles motorway and the rest town to and from work through town, works out about 30-32mpg. Just make sure you don't leave the sport button on! I love that button but it turns your car into an alcoholic lol.

If cheap running costs are important then the diesel version obviously makes sense, although they cost a lot more to buy.
