    vxr sparkplugs

    been given sum new astra vxr sparkplugs does anyone know if they will fit my astra gsi turbo

    yeah they fit fine,just dont go mad tight when you put them in,they break easily.just when you go to take them out again.

    Best plug I've used the car runs great with them in. I tried ik24's for a month or so but the car felt lethargic and had a lumpy idle so put another set of the vxr platinums in and all is good.
    Just because 1 person is running a certain type of plug and find that particular plug really good it doesn't mean to say it will be the same in your car. I've found that even tho it maybe the same engine code as yours the engines seem to like different things.
    Guess what im trying to say in around about way is that it's trial and error for your particular engine in finding the right plug and gap.

    What type are vxr plugs?? Are they normal Vauxhall ones?? My car lumpy on idle after I changed the plugs so might give it a go!!

    I got NGK but standard ones they cost about £14. Are they same model number as the GSi ones?? Can I have the model number pls!!
