    boosting problem z20let

    i now this will proberly be the same as the hesitate surg threa don here but iv just read 5 pages and dont seem to be getting any closer and only mor comfused.

    put my foot down in 2nd and 3rd and its asif its got a flat sport ast around 3000rpm. iv read it could be bcs solanoids and bypass 1 of them can any1 explain abit more of this to me so i dont have to read all 31 pages on the other thread, iv got work early in the morning lol

    Sounds like the front bcs. I had the exact same problem replaced it and it was all good.

    I've got a hesistation at around 3k....

    Mines got a new turbo, therefore new BCS... rear has been bypassed.

    Still got the problem lol.

    I had same proble, changed plugs and coilpack and now car runs fine

    I'd check map sensor wires, afm, all vaccum hoses and boost pipes are airtight.
    check the wastegate isnt sticking, maybe have a slight twiddle with the actuator settings. clean out throttle body.
    If its still the same after all that then god knows

    going to replace all vac hoses tonight and bypass the bcs. do i disconnect the hoses from? not too sure without looking at it but iv got a good idea iv changed plugs just havnt changed coilpack. going to clean throttle body and check ll boost claps aswell

    I dont know about that mate, i was told it isnt wise to bypass it as you will get more problems later on down the line so i left mine as it was

    ahhh ok read a few things about people bypassing them. il have a mess around with it tonight and see how it goes. hopefully il sort it

    if you read all of the hesitate surge thread most were saying that you shouldnt bypass the rear bcs, it cant be better without it or why would it be there ?

    are you getting a fault code ?
    i haver replaced or tried new front bcs, replaced numerous vac lines and afm , also adjusted actuator but still got the problem, going to try forge recirc valve incase the o.e spring in the valve cant hold the uprated boost, if that doesn't work then the earth mod is next on my list as code 1106 which mine is getting tends too point to that imo.

    i had code 1106 and the hesitate surge it felt pants so i found out it was the vac pipes on the front bcs to the turbo replaced them all and wound down the actuator 2 turns and its all fine now mate,i bought an afm but found out it werent that.so now i got 2.
