i put my astra ones in the machine recently which are the tailored vx ones, just to wash of all the winter crap etc and they come out fine, in the summer ive used a basin of hot water with carpet shampoo and the hose, let them dry on the line, works just as well.

Maybe stick them in the bath first, brush them through stick the shower head on them for a bit see if that works. I tried older mats in the washer once and they just curled up. Maybe my ex wife put them in a boil wash to piss me off lol

could always get a new set if you make the other ones curl up. found these bargains a couple of weeks ago. go well with the sri interior colour too.

Although it is possible to machine wash mats I really wouldn't reccomend it, as they can loose their firmness and shape.

My preferred method of valeting them is to first vacuum them thoroughly and bang them against a wall outside to disloge loose dirt, then either:
A - use a wet'n'dry vac to shampoo them, or
B - use a power hose to wash them outside, shampoo then rinse with the power hose.
Then in good weather hang them on the washing line to dry, or if the weather isn't so good, bring them indoors and pop them in the airing cupboard or near a radiator overnight to dry. They will retain their shape this way.

    Hope this helps,

    Kirsty
