    steering wheel controls

    hi i have a kenwood sterio in my astra g my controls dont work on the steering wheel i know i need a couple of wires but is there any other way of making them work???
    also the lights on the steering wheel do not light up the wires in the back there is a blue and white wire conected to nothing it says p.cont and the is also a brown one saying mute that hooks upto nothing are they anything to do with these problems??? thanks.

    No way of making them work without a adaptor

    They should light up though as the blue wires connected on the ISO harness. Does your date stay on the top display?

    The steering wheel controls on mine don't light up without having the adapter plugged in.

    no the date goes but just blank i have bought pc00-x06 and pc99-ken i connect them all i think the right way but still nothing i have no idea where the blue wire goes that comes with pc99-ken i only have a blue wire named p.cont/ant.cont and a brown one saying mute the 4 pin din wont connect anywhere either where should i connect them to??? have i got the right wires?

    If the date goes blank the controls should light up, they are controled by the same wire

    As per your other thread your stereo isn't compatible with steering wheel controls. No a bit of research into IR controls if you like
