    Car handles like a bag of SH*T

    Hi guys, fitted a set of fk coilovers a few weeks ago also shortened droplinks that came with the set, and the car handles quite poor if im honest and ideas what this could be? any help would be great!! what happens is when i turn the front of the car just slips as if there is no grip.

    you will have altered the geometry, lowering can alter camber, toe etc which will all effect handling dramatically and kill your tyres very rapidly if not sorted .
    I would fit adjustable suspension arms front and rear then take it to get all the geometry set up.

    tyres hav about 6-7mm tread ifnot a bit more mate, so tyres are fine

    hi mate thanks what are adjustable suspension arms? is it an expensive job, also would camber and tacking be the problem

    Check that the drop links aren't too short and that the stabilizer/roll bar doesn't prevent the suspension from moving.

    the droplinks came with the kit so they should fit no matter how high or low they go they should work.

    I'd say your camber is out, probably too much negative.

    Get to somewhere that does tracking and camber alignment expect to pay anything from 40-80 quid for this service

    yup i will 2nd the camber made my car handle like crap

    If you have not had the camber (and possibly tracking) set correctly since fitting them then this is the most likely problem. Incorrect camber will cause very poor handling and a very high chance of uneven tyre wear.
