    Omega mv6 wheels

    Just bought a set of omega mv 6 wheels and just woundering what tyre size fits on them so they will fit in the astra arches?
    would look my self but havent picked the wheels up yet

    they are a nice 7.5J and ET39 so i would go for a nice 205/40/17.....and will be

    If still sporting Omega rubber they will be 235/45/17 and huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge....trust me

    the clue is in the title!


    Thats the standard wheel size on the Omegas or at least the Elites with 17s


    215 would be "correct" for the mk4

    i however, dont do "correct"

    i hve omega MV6 on my mk4 astravan sportive 2.0dti with 235/45/17 rubber.

    How do they fit? Uprated springs from a mk5 vectra 2.2cdti estate. The front are half a curl taller, about 10mm, the rears are re-enforced for a caravan 5mm taller. Solid setup.

    Rear arch inner lip is rolled in at the front side of the arch (it used to catch here when loaded on original springs).

    For even less roll, i recommend a front strut brace and rear anti roll bar. £210.

    These tyres create tremendous corner grip. Very worth while upgrade. If a little work to make them fit.
