    todays regal results!

    Just come from regal where i had stage 3 put on & rr, it made 302bhp 370lbft! Was expecting about 270bhp,lol. They said the -31 collins actuator im using is a bit overkill for the turbo, can i just back it off a bit or.should i put my vxr actuator on? On graph looks like its overboosting to 1.4 & drops to about 1.0 at about 5500 rpm. Heres the graph, sorry its a really bad pic.

    sorry bud but to me that luks to lean....ur power and torque curves arnt the best... u have dip in power then bk up same with toruqe.. and how can u get 302 on stage 3? doesnt make sense fella luk at it realistically... the afr curve is goin down then pics up and stays up to .86 luks like.. ideally needs to be under 8

    but thats just my opionion... yes good results for what tho? pub talk lol...

    i dont mean this msg horrible at all just realist mate...

    whats ur spec?

    thats a bad drop in torque just when your really looking for it. mine holds the torque from about 300rpm till about 5500rpm then drops off. that must drive weird on the road.

    mine isnt making anywhere near those figures, mine is 275bhp and 304lbsft but its making and holding that tourqe right through the rev range so is very predictable and very driveable.

    that graph almost seems like when it comes onto boost initially something cant cope with it either not getting enough fuel or the ecu doesnt know whats going on so it backs off till it gets to a point where it knows whats happening and then starts building again.

    the guys at courtenays actually held mine back a little because i didnt want spikes on the graph making it better to drive, they said i could have made more torque but i recon it would have been a waste because even the way it is just now i need to be careful with it as it still wants to spin the wheels in 3rd.

    They said the fueling is spot on. I think perhaps the -31 is wound up too much & when its overboosting the ecu is cutting it back. Regal said if i put the vxr actuator back on it should smooth that dip out.
    Dan. U got that exhaust on yet?
    How much prepoad should i put on -31?
    I havent given it any beans yet, drive it round the corner to a hotel where im staying because ive got exams in southampton tommorow.

    would be worth putting the actuator on and getting it back into them then mate, might be risking burning the clutch out with that spike.
