    FMIC.... How did you mount yours????

    For those with FMICs could you post pics of how you attached them to the crash bar

    Got a few ideas in mind but wouldnt mind seeing pics of what everyone has done

    if you have a large intercooler and have it spaced back quite a bit then all the better


    MK4 preferrably for anyone who dont know already

    oh and no pics of the PWR one like Danny has - im talking regular FMIC here

    already got 2 slimlines on rads so just want pics of how your fmic is physically mounted

    No pics to hand but i got a thin length of steel that sits on the same bolts as the crash bar, heated up the ends and twisted so i could mount it and then putcrash bar on after. Hope that makes sense

    My mate got me a length of this bar. So we cut it to length and mounted it to the crash bar.

    It looks thin and weak, but its actually fairly strong + the lengths were short which helped to keep the strength.

    Not the best pics but here we go. I used some random bit of sheet metal and brackets and treated steel nuts and bolts;

    well ive got shitloads of space and its going to be mounted behind the line of the crashbar so may use some steel bar that i have from another project

    just need it back to clear the bumper ... will crack on this weekend and no doubt make some god damn awful templates.... bloody hate the things!
