    Heater dials

I got some whit LED's of the guy on here that does them for 9.99 this includes full kit, cig lighter MFD, heater, and dash.

Now im a little confused, i know in the MFD some of them have the yellow strip to dull the colour, but do the heater dials have the same sort of srtip ? i have put white LED's in and there coming through yellow, same colour as the MFD.

not tired the dash bulbs yet.

The newer ones are fitted with a diffuser but its a pain to remove i believe, think most people replace the whole unit with one from a older car, im not sure what years they started putting the diffuser in but someone will do????????? Did u get the Led's from darwin? I got mine a couple of weeks back and am inpressed!

IIRC the year was somewhere around 2000/2001.

I don't think even Oddjob bothered with this diffuser if my memory serves - he just replaced the entire unit.

So it seems this is what you're going to have to do.

The heater dial 'diffuser' is the mat itself - the sticker with the dial numbers on etc. You can switch the entire unit or just the mat. Some have orange internal plastic too and there's nothing to do but replace the whole unit unless you have the skills to solder a custom LED setup inside.

The buttons have orange plastic inside too on many units...

Heater dials are the biggest faff to sort a full colour change.
