    shiny crossover pipe?????

    I have a standard crossover pipe on the z20 let and ive seen a few shiny ones on here and i was wondering how i can do that to mine i think its looks really tidy with the blue samco hoses!

    its Easy just get a 2nd one off hear or ebay

    leave it in a bucket of Acetone or paint stripper over night to remove the Black coating
    then I would use a Sander to Sand it down
    what I did on my one was Grind the Lugs off the sides of it and reshape it a bit

    start off with a 80 Grit wet an dry and work your way up to 1000 to polish it up with
    this needed a polish a shoe shop had it like a mirror for £5

    i got mine powder coated chrome ,£10 then decides crossover had to go got the 2.2 airbox conversion cheap easy fit . looks much better if you ask me and easier to work round engine if need be .

    i used to do these and dannys way is best imo, looks silly wiv those lugs on imo so i grinded down as well, but its a lot of hard work and messy,lol but worth it in end.
    this time im going down the cdti direct route as above n do away wiv crossover
