    2002 1.6 SXI, What's it worth?

Well today my mums Audi A3 went out with a bang...Literally there was floods of smoke from the engine bay it is certainly a write off.

In a garage about a mile away from my house is a 2002 on a 51 Silver 5 door SXI with the alloys, aircon and only 68k in really good nick with a Full service history tax and decent MOT.

My mum really likes it and wants to buy it so we want to know what people think it's worth

Parkers says it's worth around 2k on a dealers forcort and it's up for £2395.

If I got him down to say 2150-2200 do you think that would be a good price?

    Will.

    sounds about right to me
    I paid £2500 last year for a Black 3dr Sxi 53 plate 76k miles
Just look on autotrader and ebay n narrow down the criteria to match, and see what similar others are listed for

I would advise a car History check before purchasing as well

Sounds a fair price for a garage. You'll always get one cheaper from a private seller, but id rather spend abit more from a garage, at least you've got some sort of comeback!

Why do people not grasp that there is a massive difference between Trade price (what your trade in will be) and retail price (what its being sold at)

A garage isn't going to give you what they are going to sell it on again. Think about it!
