    Hanging TV on a wall

Got a 50'' TV currently on the bedroom wall (chimney breast)

will be moving in with the girlfriend soon...ish and would like to hang it on the wall there, but the house is a semi detached and the only wall it would look good on is the wall where the two properties join....

the house is only around 4 years old, so any idea if the wall would support it? (i dont know how thick the wall is, so this is really a building question)

Should be brick/breezeblock if joining with neighbours. Although some of the new estates round my way have a reputation for having thin joining walls so might not be.

You should be ok hanging it on a hollow wall though if you get the screws into the wooden beams. I recently bought a kit and it said with proper hollow wall plugs you can put it straight up without worrying about getting the beam even.

you'll be fine with 1 1/2 - 2 inch screws. they won't go through to the otherside
