    Astra wheel bearing 4/5 stud?

Just ordered a new wheel bearing assembly for my 1.8 16v CDX on a 98 plate. The car is 5 stud but the bearing assembly had 4 threaded holes.
Are the 4 threaded holes for securing the bearing to the brake disc or have I the wrong assembly?

    Thanks in advance

youve ordered the wrong one bud - presuming it aint just a library picture

have u a link to the one u ordered exactly?

the correct one should obviously have 5 threaded holes seeing as u use 5 wheel bolts....

the disc just secures with a small countersunk screw.... the threaded holes are for your roadwheel bolts

    Smile

According to your info it is definitely the wrong one. The guy at the parts shop went off his little database and said it was the only one listed for my car.
The guy who will be fitting the bits is going to take the old one down to the shop on monday to ensure he orders the right bits this time.
I'll keep you posted incase theres anything daft with my model of car.

    Cheers
