    vxr turbo

    hi all, put the z20leh turbo on my astra gsi z20let engine today, just wondering what to set the boost pressure to? and also what should the actuator rod be set to? been for a test drive and seems fine but i just thought id make sure. thnks.

    actuator should show 3-4 threads mate.

    What map u running, which stage? Ive not long fitted mine with a -31 collins actuator & running about 17psi overboost, holding 14psi on regal stage 2.

    Not sure what map its on as ive nt had the car for long, or what stage, its just a standard actuator mate.

    Yup Just set it to what the actuator was set to on the one you remove

    AstraBoi. Have fun fitting it as it took me about 6 hours to change, mind you, I was teaching the boy who owns the car (EWAN on here) how to change some hoses at the same time.

    bloody hell 6 hours? what was you doing? lol mine wont take no wera near aslong especillay with no rads on it! plop straight on the studs

    Mine took 4hrs with lots of coffee breaks but I was dicking around for about an hr to get the last stud out including a trip to Halfords for a stud extractor. I would of thought it would probably take 2 easily with no rads in the way. But take ur time and don't rush it or mistakes will happen!
