    Bushes gone?

im no mechanic so i need your advice...

been to ATS today to sort my tracking out as its pulling to the left,
he did say it was way out on the passenger side so got it all re aligned.

took it for a spin and it was then pulling to the right so took it back pronto,
the tracking was out from what it was set at previous..

his answer was it was possibly the bushes..

re aligned the tracking again and got me to take it for another blast, was perfect...
he did say if it starts to pull again soon then it is the bushes..

2 mile down the road its pulling again

Is he right or what guys??

Hi Ashley, sorry I`m like you when it comes to these kind of things, however I would jack the car up and swing on the tracking arms to see if there is any movement between bar and bush.
If bushes need changing I would go with poly bushes

Also did the guy seem all clued up.

Can't say I can think of anything causing to to pull to the left/right. Did the person doing the alignment check the bushes when it was on the ramp, A little tight if he just suggested it without checking them, OR he doesn't know what worn bushes looks like. To be honest, I can't see it being the bushes since it wont cause it to go out all the time, I'd say its more likely to be the track rod end. I'd jack up both sides, put to left lock and check the right hand track rod end (check lift and play, should be none) and the same for the other side. As for checking the bushes, when jacked up and supported safely (Up to you how you do that ) and have a look at the bushes. If the lower arm bolt/bush collar is sitting on the chassis then its a lower arm you will need cause as far as I know, the bushes cant be changed.
