no reason why tracking should change

camber maybe - but minimal amount really unless u slam it and then youd probably need camber adjustment bolts to take up the difference

just get them fitted then see how u get on - most ppl dont need geometry adjusted, ppl just assume u do...

as for cost - no idea - never paid anyone to do what i can do myself

Having knackered two tyres from having marginally incorrect camber, I'd always get it checked now if I have the front struts off although I have found my camber gauge pretty accurate for the most part for self setting.

Fair point on the tracking, this shouldn't change unless for whatever reason the track rod ends are removed, I think I was getting mixed up with when I changed the front brake system, my bad

I've paid £35 for a local garage to check camber/tracking and also a local dealership bodyshop £100 for the same service. Neither was better or worse - depending on the lowering and the wheels/tyres you have will dictate whether any tyre garage can check these values or not, my tyres are too close to the arches for all the usual places locally to get their gear underneath.

Remember, if you are using standard shockers there is no room for adjustment. You could get the hole enlargened and then have it adjusted.
