I'm retrofitting a fuel computer in my '02 SRi. I have 90% of it sussed but I'm worried about a particular plug which I think I need to get to. From inside the glovebox at the back behind the blower there's a BIG square type plug, (I'm told it's called X2 for those in the know) which has about 100 pins. It connects somehow to a matching plug in the engine bay and this feeds thorugh various wires for the sensors for the computer. I thought I could get away with not touching it to start with because I'll do the sensors for brake pads, washer and coolant bottles another time but I think I definitely need to get into it for the ECU feed which comes through from a plug in the engine bay. Anyone opened this plug up before or done a recent wiring loom install, if so are there any words of advice ?
My big worry would be that if I got it open could I get it back shut ?
