depends on teh type of driving and the price of the fuel.

at a guess you put in just over 9 gallons assuming that the price was £1.30 a liter so you got 37 mpg.

I know the 1.7CDTi isn't as economical as the 1.9CDTi... you doing motorway runs or a lot of town driving?

I keep records of MPG and every year in the winter my car struggles to get 40mpg. The only thing that makes me think it's not too bad, even though it is bad, is my wifes 1.5 petrol car only does about 28mpg.

It's not too bad in warmer weather when it does about 50mpg.

even around town thats bad lowest ive got from my 1.9 202bhp is 390 and that wasnt slow lol..

id get a service done check tires things like that but also make sure the revs your sitting at are good. some people think sitting in 5th at 30mph in a petrol saves them fuel lol.

i sit in 3rd at 3mph and get better mpg than if i sit in 4th
