    Retro fitting for Astra J

    Hi all,

Apologies if I should put this somewhere else on the forum.

I know for VW there are people out there like http://www.oemretrofits.co.uk/ who can work wonders with VAG group stuff and add all sorts.

Is there anyone equivalent for VX?

My SRi has got almost everything I want, but I'd love to have the folding door mirrors.

    Any ideas?

Checked with my dealership and they gave me the number for the people they use for after-market stuff, rang them and they said they don't offer it / don't know.

These are the parts you would need. You would have to dismantle your original mirrors and use the existing glass, motor, heater and external cover. I don't know if the extra wiring would be in place. Expensive. I am sure someone will eventually do a kit and "How to".
Here is a "How to" for a Astra H 3 door. It would follow a similar fit for the Astra J.

I'd be interested if you find anything out on this way. I checked with my dealers and they've said it wouldn't be cost effective or possibly even possible due to the extra sensors required for load leveling for example.
