    astra 2.2 cams

    are astra 2.2 cams the same as 1.8 cams..just looking to buy some piper cams and 2.2 cams seem more few and far between.

    I suspect they are not the same...

    No option of having yours reground? Way cheaper than buying newly ground blanks.

    i was thinkimg of that but was a bit unsure about it.. does anybody know of anybody that does it around the north west?

    Very common option, and for a 2.2, a certain Ffoeg on here has his regound a good few years back and it sounds lovely Drives even better!

    No they are completly different
    Piper take your cams, regrind them and send them back to you
    or you can buy a set off o.e cams from me and send them off to be re-ground so your car isnt off the road
