Never driven either, although i know i've been a passenger in the Octavia, but can't remember whether it was the latest one or the one before it (taxi - drunk).
Always good to keep your options open & i was having a browse through last night, even though i've no intentions of shifting my car on, it's always good to not be caught short if say, you was unlucky enough for the engine to blow or whatever & need to source a replacement quick.
According to: http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/...px?deriv=37866
As far as parkers figures go, it gets 1mpg more than my Astra (doubt i'd see that on the road though) and it's quicker 0-60. No idea how it'd compare say 30-70 though.
Then there's the fiesta. Much smaller than i'd like, but i like the look of the new shape all the same.
Although looking into Parkers for a link, i didn't know it was released in 2008, which would likely price it out of any budget i'd have.
So on that note, what about the Fiesta beforehand?
Obviously i'd lean towards the Octavia out of the pair of these. Quite interested in one.
