Car would go into limp mode on the motorway, code's were p0400,p1100,p0105, and a maf error.
Had a new MAF fitted,no longer get the MAF error but still get p0400.
Had the MAP cleaned and new EGR valve fitted, inlet manifold all cleaned up.No longer got the p0400 error but still get p1100,p0105 when i hit 90mph,otherwise the car drove nicely.
Passed the mot no problem's so i thought id get it remapped,as soon as the new map went on the EML came on.he hooked up his vauxhall tester (p0105,p1100,p0400) and read the live data, everything looked fine apart from EGR pulse ratio was @ 0%,even when revved, when i took my foot off it would flash to 25% then drop back to 0%.
I was assured it was nothing to do with the map as he didnt change anything to do with the egr valve,he put the original map back on and it was the same.In the end i kept the new map hoping it would be a quick fix to clear the p0400.
It will now go into limp mode if left to idle in less thn one minute,if i stop at light's or roundabout ect it will go into limp mode.If i manage to drive without having to stop it can last 5/10 minute's at the most.
When not in limp mode it's amazing what a difference the remap has made!
I removed the vac pipe from the EGR valve but could feel the vac until i put my tongue on it.Out of the two solenoid near the battery, the top one's is buzzing all the time and the bottom one is silent.Cant see any damaged vac pipe's but ive ordered more just in case.
Any advice is appreciated and thank's in advance
