Question Advice on new tyres for 1.6 SXi

2 new tyres (205/50/R16) required for 02 plate 1.6 SXi.

    Choices narrowed down to:

    Falken FK-452 (£72.00 ea)
    Toyo Proxes T1-R (£80.00 ea)
Hankook Ventus Prime K105 (£78.00 ea)
    Uniroyal Rainsport 2 (£100.00 ea)

I'm impressed by the reviews on the Falken's on tyrereviews.co.uk, and they are the cheapest and available locally. I just can't justify paying > £120.00 each for Conti's, Michelin or Bridgestone boots given my primary driving is a 50 mile a day motorway commute.

Anyone here got any direct experience of the Falkens (or other choices) fitted to an SXi? TIA.

Falken ZE912's, any more on tyres and you're going to spend a fortune annually

www.camskill.co.uk - have them delivered to somewhere who'll fit and balance them the cheapest, job done. Even mates rates at a local tyre factor couldn't beat the price from Camskill, they weren't even buying them in at the price Camskill was selling them for.

Personally im a big fan of Nexen N6000 and use them on the van and the car.

Even with 240bhp or so they handled well.

    I pay £45 fitted for 15" and £55 fitted for 17"

The Falken ZE I had were terrible but for your needs they could be good

Id recommend visiting a local tyre place (independent) and see what they can do
