    Relocating battery

    Anyone done this to their astra? i want to do it on my sri-t to free up some space but not sure whats the best way to go about it?

    So anyone done it and got pics or can i have a bit of advice on what i need to buy and do to put the battery in the space wheel well

    We put Pete's battery in the boot when we did the LS1 V8 conversion on his coupe

    Battery was mounted on the drivers side purely because thats the side all the power was on. There's no reason why it couldn't go on the passenger side though

    You'd need a battery tray and clamp and 0 awg battery cable run front to rear. I can't stress how much you need to be careful when running the wire making sure it doesn't snag anywhere as it's very hard to fuse something that goes to the starter. We put a battery cut off in though so if needed power could be cut in seconds
