Had op-com out to program the spare key to the gf's Corsa & whilst the laptop was out, i figured i'd connect it to the Astra & be nosey at the readings, only understanding what very few of them meant.
Some of you may know i've air con issues, which i was originally quoted £500 for the evaporator, only to be told by a 2nd opinion garage that it'd be £300 condenser, to be told by another that it's likely the condenser & if i supply the part, they'll fit for £150 inc re-gassing.
So there's the obvious air con issue.
op-com has air con readings & i was wondering what they mean...
A/C Information Switch (Air Conditioning): INACTIVE
A/C Pressure (Air Conditioning): 180 kPa
A/C Relay (Air Conditioning): INACTIVE
A/C Cutoff Mode (Air Conditioning): Underpressure
As well as these readings, i had a fault code relating to the "running rich". I found a reading for.....
B1S1 Air/Fuel Ratio (Bank 1 Sensor 1): It alternates between RICH & LEAN. It'll spend approx 1-2 seconds on each & then flick to the other.
B1S1 Air/Fuel Ratio (Bank 1 Sensor 2): RICH
Is this normal? What are your readings & what do the air con ones actually mean in laymen terms?
