    Horn stopped working?

    mk5 sports hatch.

    Any idea's on why the horn would stop working? tried replacing fuse, but it didn't help.
    the volume control on the steering wheel wont work either now.

    My guess would be the CIM. Common fault on the MK5, and should be sorted under warrenty. Take it to your local VX dealer and see what they say. Some people have been getting a recall notice from Vauxhall to get the work done.

    Yes it's the cim modual, it normally does it with the lights on, it used to do this in my old mk5 van and a good whack of the top of the steering wheel used to be a temporary fix lol but as above Vauxhall should fix it as it's a recall
