    Eibach Sportlines

Alright guys i bought some Sportlines off the forum ... and they were a 50/30 set up might sound like a right gimp but do the 50's go on the back and 30's on the front? ... why are they not 30/30 im presuming its because the engine is in the front giving it more weight?

    Thanks in advanced

    Phil

    Glad you got them OK....

As mentioned the 50mm ones are for the front. The springs are different too, so the ones that have a more or less parallel coil to them are for the front. The ones that look like pig tails are for the rear.

    The Eibach Sportlines are 50/30's

Eibach also do Proline springs which are 30/30's but bear in mmind the standard SRi is something like -20mm lower than a bog standard Astra model.

The Astra VXR springa are something like -25 or -30mm lower

I always thought the split drop was to compensate for the front arch? I had mine down 40mm all round and the front sits higher, if you look at the car side on the rear arch is lower than the front, split drop makes the car appear to be level, well the arches are but the car isn't.....if that makes sense

How much did you buy them for if you don't mind me asking?

I've got some brand new ones that I need to sell. Would £100 sound right to you?
